About Us

    Gill Drilling Services, Inc. was established in September 15, 1952 by Richard A. Gill as a small drill bit sharpening business. It was called Gill Bit Sharpening Company. Richard came to Spartanburg, SC to build the sister company of Gill Rock Drill Co., located in Lebanon PA. He traveled all over the United States picking up bits, sharpening and returning them. Over the years the business has grown and now we cover many fields of work.
